Before starting Jamie Alan Design, Jamie Dandrea worked as Senior Designer in two design firms, one in New York City and the other in the San Fransisco Bay area. He went off on his own fifteen years ago and since then has helped countless businesses, from small independent start-ups to large established corporations expand and become successful. "We pride ourselves on the ability to give our clients award winning design firm quality work at a fraction of the cost with the personalized attention of an independent studio."

Jamie Alan Design is a studio driven by ideas. We love making something out of nothing. We also love making the ugly beautiful, the dumb smart, the complex clear, and the average exceptional. Jamie Dandrea - Founder and Creative Director

Laguna Beach Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer of over 20 years, I have gained experience in a large number of industries including corporate, advertising, entertainment, package, publishing and promotion. The samples shown on this site are printed and electronic works which I have designed during the past several years while working as a graphic designer in New York City, San Francisco and now Southern Ca.

My work ranges from creating identity systems for some of the largest corporations in the world to designing collateral for boutique start-ups. Having worked with such a large array of clientele has taught me to become a versatile designer. I've recognized the challenges of integrating creativity into the corporate setting and have developed the ability to create pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. I have been known by both colleagues in the industry and clients to have exceptional strength in sense of aesthetics and attention to detail. As a seasoned graphic designer, I have excelled in interpreting clients' needs and developing effective design concepts in a style that is both “sleek” and “cutting-edge”.

I enjoy the close partnerships I have with my clients, and find the most effective communications are inspired by a deep understanding of the marketing and business challenges they face. I consider myself successful when my clients are.
